Root canal retreatment
Not every root canal treatment is a complete success, but that does not mean the tooth must be extracted. Re-treatment, performed under magnification and with modern diagnostics, gives the tooth a real second chance.

How retreatment is carried out at Mabel Clinic
We plan the treatment based on accurate radiological diagnostics. Under anaesthetic and using a rubber dam, we remove the old material from the root canals, locate any previously missed canals, thoroughly disinfect the entire area, and tightly seal it. Working under magnification allows us to preserve the maximum amount of healthy tissue. Retreatment usually requires one or two longer visits, and the key to success is patience and precision.
